This is the main theme from the 4th movement of Beethoven’s famous 9th symphony. Despite the comically cheap sounding MIDI of the backing track, which I did have a lot of fun making, the harmonies and instrumentation are in fact derived from Beethoven’s original score.
This piece is great for beginner violin levels, as it uses only regular fingerings on three strings and few complicated rhythms. I’ve kept the rhythm from the original, but not the repeat of the B section.
You can find two versions of the sheet music - one following the form and rhythm of the original, and one a more simplified version.
The video backing track has a 4-bar introduction.
