Johannes Brahms's beautiful little lullaby is a great tune for violin beginners. 'Wiegenlied' was originally written for voice and piano, and in the video and accompaniment (available as mp3 download here or through my Patreon page) I've used the original piano part. It was first published in 1886 as op. 49 no. 4, and it's safe to say that this is one of Brahms's most popular pieces.

There are some grace notes - in the video I forgot to indicate the slurs but you can find the proper bowings in the free sheet music download.

I've also included a simplified version with easier rhythms and without the grace notes. The advanced version encourages use of the 4th finger, the simplified version can just use open A strings instead.
